So my car isnt running on all cylinders, if i unplug #1 from the distributor no change in engine operation, if i unplug 6 no change either. i made sure all my fuel injectors are clicking by plugging in my broken Distributor and rotating it with the engine off. thats about as far as my test went. my spark plugs are also brand new. only thing left in the ignition system is the wireset/coil and ignitor. that hasnt been replaced . i tested the coil pack a long time ago when i wasnt getting spark and it was out of range just barely. but that wasnt my problem and it ran fine no issues. but here we are now. i tried different wires on the spark plug still no change in the engine operation. but they are all old wires. it is getting some spark but idk if its enough. or if two fuel injectors are just randomly bad. or the wire-set is effed

-Spray all ignition components with water. Look for arching.
-Inspect cap and rotor
-Regap plugs. Check for cracked insulators.
-Check compression.
-Verify spark on "bad" cylinders with spark tester.

i tried two different caps. No change in engine operation either so its not the cap, but maybe both caps could be all carbed up on the inside bc they are both used. the rotor is fine though . actually i have another distributor because the original one the magnets /plastic was broken. spark plugs are definitely gapped correctly they are also only 3 days old. and do i need to unplug anything? after i spray it with water or just leave everything connected and look. i know its making compression for sure. i just did a head gasket replacement and tested compression. and my head got resurfaced and all the valves were tested and cleaned up and such. along with the engine block so nothing is sticking or bent. but it was doing this same thing even before i replaced the headgasket.
