Any office supply store carries paperclips, and that's all you need for the 7M engine. Well, that and the ability to count flashes on the Check Engine Light on the dash.

I only see one on ebay right now and they want $1600. It doesn't come with the cards you need. I have seen them from time to time, usually around $2000 in good condition. In case you haven't figured it out yet from the other posts, you only need a jumper wire or paper clip.

Think how many service manuals he could buy for $2000...then he wouldn't have had to ask such a question.
Ouch, ok well that is alot more then one for my F150. I can handle paper clips, I guess im just jumping the gun and want to try and sneak in a couple things before the car gets home next week and the wife starts to pay close attention to the checking account.
Sorry, just don't understand why people buy these cars and don't get a manual right off. It's worth every penny.

Like i said i have not got the car yet, Have seen several questions in forums on codes and figured that would be something good to have, I will search out a service manual as well as a chiltons an probably a haynes. I am a little more familiar with RC Car forums, when you ask a question like this you get about 20 replies with diff manufactures as well as prices and web sites, It seems on Supra forums its not that way. In the future will probably just read posts here and ask questions elsewhere

Don't waste your money on Chiltons/Haynes manuals. Just get the Toyota manuals.
As for not getting a list of manufacturers/prices..., reading engine diagnostic codes does not require a code reader on these cars.
Ask for an exhaust/BOV/turbo timer/... recommendation and you'll get a few.
And for f%^& sake, don't be afraid to ask questions. We all ask a few dumb things when we start learning a new subject.

Don't be like that. There is so much to learn from this forum. No one is saying not to ask questions, but you have to do your searching first. Otherwise you'll get flamed! Even if you do search and find something, but don't understand people will still be willing to help you. You can appreciate that being asked the same questions hundreds of times becomes annoying after a while!

Ok no haynes or chiltons, see i learned something else from my stupid question. I am just very excited to go get my car i have been wanting one for over a year since i drove one. As the norm life NEVER goes as it should and i have not found one that i want, then BAM this one pops up on craigs list, 400 miles from me but 20 from my dad. He bought it for me and took it home, Sadly i have to trailer it home instead of the nice drive. we THINK it has a boost leak, as the turbo spools but no ZOOM ZOOM. Also i am the father of 3 the youngest JUST graduated and now i can have a TOY!!! searching online now for a service manual. I hate sights that say FREE LIARS!!!
