codes 24 and 51 having idle issues

Hello i am having a couple issues with my mk3 supra. i pulled the engine codes and they are codes 24 and 51. When its cold and i turn it on its idle jumps between 400 and 600 then once it is warmed up it idles fine but if i start it again after ten minutes it happens again.

please help

Have you set your TPS according to the TSRM?

Check your connection on the AFM.

I had the same problem with code 24.my mass air flow meter plug did'nt have a tight connection,i had to use a shoe string to tighten the plug connection to the mass air flow sensor.If you have a ohm meter check your m.a.f.meter,or look up the t.s.r.m.

thanks for the replies i got it fixed, i took the connector off of the mass air flow meter and bent the pins down. It now has a very good connection and runs great. Thanks for the replies
