Code 64 - severed or defective lock-up solenoid ('88T, a340e)

To replace the lockup solenoid, do I have to drop the transmission, or can it be replaced while still in the car?

Part number?

Now, the power antenna - I can hear the motor working fine, but the mast doesn't move. Anyone have a part number, for a replacement mast?

A mast won't do you any good if the nylon cord broke. If you mast is not broken, 99.9% chance you'll need a new motor or a used one with a good nylon cord. Only way to be sure is pull the mast off a see. If you want a new one, order from Jay Mark's Toyota, used one that works, good luck hard to find, but the good news is, many Toyota antenna's are universal throughout the line-up so if you have a salvage yard near you, your not just limited to Supra's. I have an antenna from my car that worked just fine.
I have no use for it anymore, PM me if you would like to take it off my hands.

rofl... not too worried about it. I've got a 6 disc changer instead of a radio to listen to the tunes :D

So anyone here ever dealt with the lockup solenoid?

Where the hell is the tranny computer? Passanger side kickpanel? (hard to tell from the tsrm :()

I have a replacement mast and nylon cord, but couldn't find alot of detail about replacing them in my existing antenna.

I think I fought with the same issue with my 87T about 8 years ago and ended up just replacing the whole deal w/a universal fit antenna. So, before I go ripping more stuff up, does anyone have the instructions, pics, or links that I can use to get this right the 1st time? TIA!
