I have a 1990 supra turbo, automatic, ABS.
It's throwing a transmission code 61, #2 speed sensor.
If I understand the bible properly the ECT gets it's #2 sensor signal from the ABS computer, not the actual sensor.
The ABS computer is not throwing any codes, so I should be safe to assume that the sensor itself is okay, and I can carry on and check outputs and inputs on the ECT and ABS computer.
Am I wrong?
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what was their solution?
