ok, i got a code 52 which is the knock sensor. you think that the sensor is just defective. only comes on sometimes. usually when driving on the highway after like an hour. then the check engine light comes on. let me know if its anything esle.??:1zhelp:

Check the wiring to the knock sensors. There are two of them on the drivers side of the block. Mine had a wire that had come loose. There is also a kit that you can buy to rewire them. I think it's sold by Shaeff. I may be wrong on that though.................Good luck.
Just FYI: Code 52 will not set as soon as a KS fault is detected. Certain things must happen first. Driving on the highway for a bit of time will do it.
