I was having a problem with my battery not charging and loosing voltage when my car is at idle so I decided to have my alternator and my battery checked at that parts store.
They both ended up testing good, but I've also had a problem with the car not idling properly and wanting to die when the voltage meter would appear to drop so I ran diagnostics and got back a code 51.
I'm sure it has something to do with the TPS affecting the idle but I'm stuck wondering what is causing the battery to drain. I do live in a cold climate but never had any trouble like this before.
"51 Switch Signal
Diagnosis
* No "IDL" signal, "NSW" signal or "A/C" signal to ECU, during diagnosis check.
Trouble Area
* A/C switch circuit
* A/C switch
* A/C amplifier
* Throttle position sensor circuit
* Throttle position sensor
* ECU"
