I decided to check my codes today and I got a code 51 . Now I uses to have serious idle problems but the new iacv and other adjustment has it idling perfect. It idles at around 650 to 700 warm. Sometimes it will idle at 1100 after driving or at a stop light but once I tap the gas it goes back down I think my throttle linkages is a little sticky causing it to idle high sometimes but once I touch the throttle it goes back down

Should I leave it or try to figure it out the car runs fine. I might look into it tomorrow but the car seems fine

First make sure the AC button isn't lit. Next:

Unplug the TPS then short IDL and E2 on the harness. Pay attention to the orientation of the TB in the picture so you get the right pins. If the code disappears the TPS is either bad or needs to be adjusted using that procedure.

If the TPS is causing the code your idle control system isn't working...

Well, you can always do the opposite and measure the same two pins of the TPS with an ohmmeter like the book shows. If you can't get a low reading the TPS is bad or needs to be adjusted. You're welcome btw, for this and the other thread. Damn New Hampsters...

I jumped those two prongs on the tps connector and the code went away. Cleared the ecu plugged the tps back in even with out turning the car on I got code 51 so I think the tps is toast

It's jetjock. Not jetrock, not jetlock, and especially not jetcock.

Just so you know code 51 is the only code that doesn't get set in memory. It's real time. Never a need to reset the ECU. There's also no need to run the engine.
