code 34??? any help out there? i recently drilled out my stock air flow meter and undid the screw in there(cheap atempt at the lexux upgrade.....). now i have 2 codes that come back up even if i reset my ecu.

here they are:

24 Intake air Temp Sensor Signal not so woried.
34 Turbocharger Pressure NOW IM WORRIED?!?!?!?!?!?!

so heres the question...... what could cause abnormal turbo pressure???

is it the ic pipes(maybe)
or is it in the turbo itself...

i have a 60 trim ct-26 on the way, but its still the only car i got. i might even have the dredded bhg but thats next. just put a new clutch in(yikes!!!). need to save the money for the turbo.

any ideas????? :1zhelp:

34 is fuel cut. 24 is a bad afm. Did you remove the electronics when you drilled and adjusted the afm? You may have fried the afm if you got it wet, dirty, etc...
did you plug the afm back in? Does the car run?

the car still runs. its my daily driver.(hehehehe) no, i didnt remove the electrinics from the body, but i did block off the in and out of the afm body with shop rags while drilling out the screw plug. i have not run too high off boost to hit fuel cut (i think... i only run 9psi. i unpluged the evc i have to make sure.) so if it might be the afm, is there a decent cleaner to use? should i replace it? this didnt happen till i replaced the clutch(afm drilled 3 days before clutch plate blew up.). im just a lil worried cuz its the daily driver for me and my fiancee.

there is a pinhole in the intercooler. i have it pluged though and it dosent seem to be leaking. is there a possiability theres a leak in the ic pipeing?

It could be. Does the car buck under boost, and hestate?
It sounds like a bad afm though.. Do you know any supra friends from whom you could borrow a working afm?

no bucking, no hesitation. code tells me bad turbo pressure, but the gauge shows all is fine. around here im like the only one with a turbo supra. priced one at the part store and its like 400! looks like im gonna go look for the lexus body. anyone know if that afm will be ok or if i have to recalabrate it or what? i can get the lex part from a buddie who has a few laying around with the meter still on it.
