bad afm right? well I switched out the electronics with a new one from a lex and i'm still having the same problems. what do I fix next?

I would check all of the wires going to the connector and make sure they are not loose. Did you reset the stored codes by pulling the EFI fuse?

check and check. I even disconnected the AFM hookup from the safc (which for some reason is reading 3hz w/o the engine even running) and it's still no good. could the honeycomb be the culprit? it looks fine tho....

Well, it is either the wiring or the meter. So, it isn't really check and check.

It could be the ECU, but highly unlikely.

if ur TPS is out, or ur o2 sensor is effed up it can give afm trouble codes. it can happen to u, cuz it happened to me :)
