code 24, 31

alright, well i just got done installing my new intercooler/ hardpipes, lex afm/ 550's, put a new knock sensor on. now i have code 24 and 31 and the car seems to studder a bit when idleing. i checked out my wiring on my afm and its fine. the car actually doesnt run too bad, just a little studer. what do ya think?

Yep, or maybe that Lex AFM came with funky electronics. Btw, here we have another guy who "checked something and it's fine". No offense Mike but that doesn't tell us much.

Plaaya: The diagnostic system can't detect air leaks. Codes are set based upon strict and specific conditions of the sensor signal involved and those conditions can't be duplicated by leaks. In many ways it's a stupid system. I'm not saying he doesn't have a leak, just that it couldn't be responsible for his codes.

no offense taken jj. ill check out another set of electronics and see what happens.

Thanks Mike. That kind of thing just bugs me at times.

Normally the car will run OK with a 24 but rarely will it run worth a crap with a 31. That yours does is what leads me to believe it's the electronics and not the wiring. Hard to tell from here though, Nick could be right.
