code 2 1 issues

so im finally completed with my rebuild and the car idles......extremely rough, and now its showing a 2 1 code. i bought a new o2 sensor thinking that mine was bad, and im still having the same issue. Anyone ever have this issue before? if so, some help would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you're going to just swap parts you might as well jack up the radiator cap. Is the sensor cross counting and if so at what average voltage? Can you drive the signal to min and max? Does it test OK off the car? Heater check out? Wiring back to the ECU good? Those things will either fix it or point you in the right direction. I'd focus on the heater first because it's the simplest cause.

ill definitely start with the heater wire just as soon as i can find the right spot in the tewd. if you know where it is thatd help too lol
