This has been getting a bit worse lately. I will get in the car, turn the key and sometimes it just goes click. Sit and play with turning the key and messing with the clutch pedal, then finally it will start. But I just installed my new gauge pod today and my autometer water temp gauge needle is as far down as it can go, never seen this happen before. I left the negative cable on the battery off to install the gauge pod. I got a call from a friend saying her GST was making a really loud wierd noise. Go to try to start it and just click. Tried playing with it for awhile but nothing. Finally broke down and pulled code 11.

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
You pulled a code 11 from your friend's GST or is that just non sequitur?

Where does the click come from? The pax foot well or the starter?

Code 11 is power loss to the ECU. Bad connection somewhere. EFI fuse, main relay, ignition switch, bad wiring, ect.

I searched and didnt find much. Its my Supra, the click comes from the ECU I believe, but it could be from the starter.

The starter problem may be unrelated. I found out (through trial and error) that Supras tend to have alot of voltage drop at the hot side of the starter over time. Check your voltage at the starter.
