Ok I am determined to get to the bottom of my moody Supra.
The light was coming on only when the engine RPM was almost 0. The car is doing a high then low idle untill warm and I noticed that the light would flash when it almost died. I checked the codes and its an 11. Is this simple enough to assume that my car's rpm is getting so low that its triggering its own check engine light?
I am going to try cleaning the TPS sensor tomorow to help with the idle. I checked the timing as best as I could with the bumpy idle and I got it to 10 degrees with the jumper and upwards of 12 without it.
EDIT: The coolant light is coming on and off at times, I noticed that it was only after giving the motor some revs. Its not staying on and the temperature is not hot at all. The gauge is reading and I have plenty of water in the radiator. ( I am using water untill I am ready to be on the road with it. Then I will do a flush and go to a good 50/50 solution.
Am I getting somewhere?
