You can use a 1jz clutch disk because 1jzs use the R154. You can maybe use a 1jz pressure plate, although I'm not sure. You can't use a 1jz flywheel, because it bolts to a 1jz crank, which has the same bolt pattern as a 2jz crank.
Hope this helps.

I come from a land down under
CB: I got the Twin complete used with the flywheel insanely cheap through a business contact.

I'm having it modified as I use a Tremec trans and OSG don't do the Ford 10 spline discs but even with all of that I'm still way ahead of the new price.
(I built my Tremec adaptor based on an NA bellhousing so it's a push clutch already)

HPF stock them new but as Figgie said you need to factor in the adaptor kit.

A friend of mine bought an OS triple plate set for $200. He needs to order the push type adaptor and that's it...... Still contemplating whether to put it in my car or not.... :evil2:

that will only make it an almost on off switch ;)

it still will be harsh engagement. The nature of the material.

well the grass is not always greener on the other side ;)

more specifically this clutch is an on off switch. You can thank the unsprung clutch disc for that.

It being a solid hub or sprung has nothing to do with the quick engaugement. The fact that they don't have a marcel does. Sprung only reduces some shock placed on the driveline on enguagemant. The marcel on a stock disk is what makes the disk so easy to engauge.
