i've been researchin clutches for the 1jz an its tough. imma be gettin my motor soon and need a clutch option. the question is who makes a decent clutch that'll hold up to about 3-400hp? will stock work? thanx

I went with this clutch setup for now because i will not be shooting for anything above 400 ft/lb TQ. I've heard nothing but good things for the ACT PP and this is why i opted to get it with a stock disk. If for anything reason in the future i want to upgrade i don't have to changed the PP>

I have a stocker with a TRD flywheel.
I dont like how high the clutch catches but it holds so im not gonna complain

^^^how does it catch? its slippy. im not really lookin for a on off or agreesive street.. sometihing that can hold th powr and still be treet driven.
It came with the Front clip my engine is from.

i have a spec sgt 3+.. supposed to hold 630 ftlbs.. fullfaced.. so smooth driving.. I'll see how it holds after i get it broke in..
On my 7m I had a spec stg 3.. it held great.. didn't have much hp though (300-350whp).. lasted for 2 years 50+k miles on it.. Many Many drag passes on it..

werd i can vouch for this as it went from tissimo's car with lots of track passes to mine which had atleast 20 passes and street racing as well. and it was STILL holding fine when i sold the car a month ago
