Need help!
I'm having transmission problems.
So... I was driving on friday afternoon and took it kinda on the outskirts of a small town so it was like country driving. I wasn't pushing it but I was downshifting from 3rd to 2nd so I could get on it a bit.
I pushed the clutch in and proceeded to put it into second. It wouldn't go so I let off the clutch pedal and the pedal had dissappeared. It was stuck fully depressed. So I coasted to a safe spot and messed with it. I had to pull it back into place with my hand. Then after that it wouldn't go into any gear... Only neutral. Waited a few min and it worked but was jerky. Got it to a neighborhood where we let it cool off even more. It was fine driving home. felt like normal by the time I got back home.
Saturday afternoon I back the supra out and into the street and put it in 1st. It's real jerky and you almost have to let all the way off of the clutch pedal in order for the gear to engage? What happened? I don't think my clutch is gone because it was fine right before the pedal stuck and when I was driving home it was fine. Now it's jerky and sounds bad.
I have heard different theories. Some said slave cylinder, maybe I lost clutch fluid? Air in the line? I dunno what to do but I just don't see how the clutch could be fine one sec and then be funky the next, then fine again and funky the next time. I need help. This is my first supra and manual transmission so I am totally lost. I have the TSRM's but I dunno where to start.
I took some pics... can be found here
