Clutch Question

With a 2jz and a R154 tranny, what kind of clutch and flywheel would you guys use. Would it be possible to use a 2jzgte clutch and flywheel, because i cant seem to find any 7m clutches that will hold around 500 crank with room for improvement and streetability (if that makes sense).

a W58 will only hold about 300 hp. Your going to need a R154 for that much power.

you need an R154, a 1jz bellhousing and flywheel both of which are available through driftmotion and then everything else is 7m parts, as fas as a clutch that will hhold over 500hp for a 7m Horsepowerfreaks makes a bronze clutch good for 600hp and 2 feramic clutches good for something like 600-800hp, if you decide to get one keep in mind a number of people have had issues with those clutches welding to aftermarket lightweight flywheels

Im using a spec stg 3+ rated at 620 ftlbs.. it should hold.. i hope

after I go single I'll probably go with a rps c/c
