Clutch pedal sticking at high rpms

I have an 87 turbo and clutch operates fine until the rpms get around 4500+ then the pedal will stick sometimes it comes back up verrrrrry slowly other times not at all. I'll pull it out and afterwards it will act fine. It seems also that when I try to shift when the pedal is in it will not go into gear. I just changed the tranny fluid and my friends and I did a bleed on the clutch maybe not enough possibly but it only seems like high rpms are the problem.
thanks for any help.

For anyone who finds this thread it ended up being the clutch master cylinder being bad.

Yea try bleeding the clutch line again. That would be my first guess. Not sure why its only doing it at high RPM tho'. Anyone else?

Not sure if it's the same with pull clutches but with a push clutch if things aren't machine correctly or worn a bit it can effect the geometry of the throwout bearing causing it to stick down by centrifugal force at high RPM's.
(think of a low finger Chev Clutch V's a high finger clutch this was dont to prevent it going over centre at RPM's)

I imagine it applies to pull clutches just that it would be opposite tolerance stackup causing it compared to a push.
