Clutch goes to the floor and fluid is everywhere....Inside the car ?

had an incident kind of like "Rocketguy13" But a little different too.

I just driving along, Not hard...and I go to shift into 2nd gear and the clutch pedal goes to the floor and stays there..I had to manually put my foot behind it to bring it back up.

I pumped it up and drove it very carefully home.
I checked the lines, slave and master cylinder no leakage..But when I checked out the clutch pedal I found a lot of fluid inside the car..The carpet and floor mat were soaked.

Will a new clutch master cylinder reservoir fix this ?

Yes, absolutely. Other than leaking internally, thats where they leak.

You're lucky. My 85 Celica did that to me. Only I wasn't able to use the clutch at all. Thankfully it was only ~5 miles of straight shifting to the dealership.

Thanks for the offer Lewis But I went on to DM and got The works.
Clutch master cylinder, Slave cylinder and matching SS braided Hose.
Might as well upgrade as long as im down there tearing it apart.

Definitely a leaking differential, sometimes when they leak, they open a black hole and deposit fluid on the driver's feet when he's not looking.

Good work on buying the works, can't put a price on peace of mind.

^ Common everyone knows that cant happen in a supra. You have to have over 4000hp and launch at 5500 rpm then the ring gear and pinion gear will press together hard enough to split off a quantum particle fluctuation and the virtual pairs will reform making a primordial black hole at the drivers feet. Of course in a right hand drive car it will dump on the passenger side.:naughty:

Its not much fun R & R'ing maintenance parts.
Go fast parts are a bit different.
But with this car as I'm quickly learning..are usually still a PITA.
