Clutch Fork questions (yes more of them)

My new clutch fork's pivot ball hole is way bigger than the pivot ball on my w58.

so...i need a larger pivot ball from a mk3 w58, but toyota lists two of them
Early Model Part no. 31236
and then
Late Model Part no. 31236b

So my question is: Is one of these larger than the other? Both Size?
