Bougth F1 sage 3 clutch put it in, has about 3 K on it now. Clutch is really jumpy, I did not turn flywheel but when I put it in the old flywheel did not seem bad at all now im thinking about having the flywheel refinished is it too late? I mean the clutch started to wear to the old one even though it did not appear bad its enough to make driving ruff and a pain in the ass =( basically you have to try and "ride" it alot to take off smooth

F1 Stage 3? Isn't that the one on eBay? Ehh....
Are you saying that the clutch chatters? I know nothing about these F1 clutches, nor do I think anyone else here does... You probably should have used a SPEC clutch bought from one of our vendors, that way you would have some sort of technical support if something like this happened.

FWIW, You should ALWAYS have the flywheel resurfaced when you put a new clutch in. Especially if you're going to be doing some "spirited" driving.
I don't think it could hurt to have the flywheel resurfaced now, give it a shot...

no expert, but same thing happened with my 6puk ebay clutch, except i did the re-surface at the same time., it still chattered like hell. not sure of your mods, but I ended up just using a new stock disk (instead of the 6 puck) and keeping the stage 3 pressure plate. That solved my problems... no slippage , no chatter.. :)

also, my chatter seemed to get worse the more i drove it. it would be ok when the car was cold, (backing out and leaving the driveway) but once it got warm, it was on or off.. tried to use the tires as the "clutch" but that just made me look like a noob..

yes, thats correct, as you drive it seems to get a little worce, all you can do is "ride" it hard but then I feel like im wearing it out

I come from a land down under
I have a Solid centre Ceramic Twinplate in my car now that's a bit of a bitch but eventually you adapt and learn to drive around it!

A good tune helps heaps as you can slip a tiny bit to roll the wheels then let it right out and accelerate without the squealing shuddering jerking mess!
