I have a clunking noise whenever I accelerate, or do some type of sharp movement, let off quick, jam on the gas, I will get a clunk from behind me... I thought it was the rear end being worn out but I replaced that and still have the noise.

I jacked the car up and tested all of the 'u' joints with all of them feeling great... the carrier bearing has as much play as any other supra I've worked on. the wheels don't move up/down/right/left.. no movement cept 'round and 'round

Any other suggestions on what I could check for that would make this type of clunking noise?

I come from a land down under
There are a couple of spherical bushings in the back end down at the Hub check these.

Jack the car up and put some stands under the subframe so the suspension droops then grab the wheel top and bottom and rock it you'll feel the clunk if this is it! (my car does it and I have the new bushes here just waiting till I drop the 9" in to change em)

Are you 5spd? If so, put the back up on stands, take the car out of gear and try turning the DS both ways, watch for a gap in the movement of the axles.

I tried that, no movement at all in any direction :)
