I have a really annoying clunk.... sounds like batteries shaking around in an aluminum flashlight. It seems to be in the dash above the radio somewhere. Happens on just about any bump I hit, but it doesn't happen every day... only every few days. Is there any common thing that rattles back there? My dash is all pretty much stock.
Also, the steering column cover, the section closest to the wheel.... it rattles and buzzes constantly, all the time. I find myself driving with my hand on it just to shut it up. I tried sticking foam in it to put pressure on it, no luck. All the screws are tight and in place. I noticed they fixed this on the 89+ cars with two extra screws, but that cover won't fit the 87' column. Has anyone with an 87-88 model figured something out that works?
