climate control

My climate control lights goes out everytime I turn on the headlights. As soon as the headlights is off there back on, where should I check for thesolution

Check the dimmer switch.

I have the same issue and read a few threads on it, without much about the eventual resolution. Seems to be pointing to a ground issue, maybe at the dimmer/rheostat, but could be elsewhere in the ground circuit for the A/C amplifier. The unit still work, just no lights when the parking/headlights are turned on. My rheostat is working fine, as I can still use it to adjust the lights on my pillar gauges. My dash gauges have reverse-indiglo overlays, which are using their own dimmer knob, which also works fine.

I've been out-n-about enjoying driving my Supra (after a long time down this year), so have not deep dived into troubleshooting it yet. I also plan to do another climate control with LEDs, over the Winter, so haven't been in too much of a rush.

The gauges is a different part of the rheostat. It's easy enough to check. If you ground the wire for the climate control and it comes on then it's the rheostat.
