Clevite Bearings

Ok I couldn't find a clear answer when I searched.
But are the Clevite 77 bearings the same ones they stock normally at most auto parts stores or only special order from certain places.
I ask cuz I can get them for about half price at napa( hookup) instead of going to toyota. So figured I'd ask before I invested in anything.

I just insalled these in my 7m... I've heard good things about them, but I havent got the motor running yet so I cant really tell ya how they perform.

yea but what I'm trying to find out is are they the same ones that are stocked at these places or will I have to order online

not all parts stores have them stocked NO. they usually are special order. BCA aka federal mugal(sp) usually are stocked at parts stores along with sealed power.

Yes the NAPA ones are Clevite 77. Those are the ones I got when I ordered from NAPA.

Make sure you get Clevite bearings when you order em. A lot of companies like to put a cheaper bearing in a Clevite box, ask me how I know :3d_frown: Clevites are a light gray/whiteish color and say "clevite" on them.
