cleaning up the engine bay

need some advice for cleaning up the engine bay. i've already got rid of the a/c and lookin into getting egr block off plates. any other recommendations would be great..........i'm trying to get rid of anything that ya don't need to drive it. i'm not concerned with having and amenities, just a nice clean engine bay

im doing the same as u mate - getting a little scared at the wiring side of things, their hust never seems to be an end to it, ive removed all the water lines running inside the car(not legal but hey nothing an electric fan cant fit as a demister) remove cruise control - trhat gets rid of alot of vacumm lines .. a ffim will be ya best bet but buy 1 from RON if anyone (trust me)

make a couple of jumper wires and you can take the puel pump relay and resistor off of the pass side fender well. when you remove the egr, that clears up a kot of vacuum lines too. the charcoal canister can come out, but you have to vent the gas tank then.

keep the fuel vsv. you can remove the egr vsv when you remove the egr.

why vent the gas cap? you know that hiss sound you get at the gas station? you get lots of that and if you dont vent it, the gas tank cant breath. if you just leave a open pipe that went to the gas tank under the hood........ well you get the idea, right?

then theres the ugly as sin stock air box. get a apexi and your set there.

remove the cruse and all the brackets over by the master cylender.

id take a pic, but its dark out.
