Ok Guys/Girls

I rarely post anything here mostly just creep and search info that I need.
So I swapped in a 1jz like people do, and its been on the roads for almost two years now. Ive been cleaning up the engine bay and making it look as clean and as stock looking as possible. My harness is pretty ratty looking and its time to do something about it. So my question whats the best way to clean it up, remove harness and re pin and re string new wires and get as many new plugs as I can? or I was wondering if anyone has used a haltech long lead harness along with a sport 2000 system?
Ive been thinking about this for months now and I really need some input on what I can do!
heres the car sorry no engine bay shots, yet..

I vote no help until you show pics of project! (Kidding)

If it's unneeded just keep in mind you could end up opening a huge can of worms by messing with your harness, cracked plugs, cracked wires etc.

go slow be careful.

haha yes well I'll try and get a good pic up this weekend of what I mean.
Thats what I mean its not broken everything works so I don't really want to tear it apart. Another option I was thinking was just take it off and just copy the harness? This is all work that I'm very capable of doing and I can not justice sending out my harness for x amount of dollars.

I just really would like to see some pictures of your swap. Remember your always your own biggest critic.

The only thing I would be concerned about is A. As you say it's all working, so tearing it apart may be asking for troubles. B. It will be no small task to do a complete redo/copy of the harness regardless. It'll take some time. C. If you are planning on copying it you have to know that your gonna inevitably crack/break/damage some of the plugs in the process. Not to mention re-pinning. These eventualities will cost some bucks. The plugs and pins are not all that cheap.

But on the plus side once completed you will have a really slick and more likely worry free setup that's fresh and not tired and brittle etc. Should also look much more clean as well.

I re-did my 2jz swapped motor harness from scratch and ya, it's a big job.

Are connectors broken, ugly wire splices, with a bit of wtf going on with your harness or is it just the outside of it making you go "i dont like that i want it different and possibly not viewable."?

Pretty cluttered. You can drill a hole behind the intake on the fire wall and run the harness trough the dash. That would get rid of the wiring harness.

What are all the hoses under the harness for?

You could run the battery cables trough the drivers fender and same for the gauges and there should be a harness hole in there to go into the cabin to run all that through. Or you could get 1 of those thing like of the stock harness so water doesnt get in and make your own hole.

To be honest I never even thought about going thru on the drivers side? I was just thinking about pulling the engine again and un cluttering and just making a new harness from scratch, with new connectors and incorporating my after market sensors into the harness.
