You're gonna laugh at me...

But we used to clean out old racing mechanical injectors in either pepsi or CLR (calcium lime rust) remover.

Brake cleaner might work also, but just make sure what ever you use you don't hose the electronics.

LOL.. I cleaned mine with a razor blade.
Scraped off all the carbon build up, then with a small wire brush, rag soaked in brake cleaner, and a can of brake cleaner, I sprayed and wiped it down till it was like new!

It won't harm the electronics. Just don't soak the electrical part in any of the above mentioned solvents.

MDC, you're not crazy! I saved a pair of vise grips with Coke once!

spilled a can of coke on my monte carlo once and the header bolts came out like a charm. if your gonna use brake cleaner, get good stuff like crc brakekleen. its in a green can. works the best, but i dont think ya can but it in cali.
