So I was watching 'Masters of Horror' one night... the episode was called 'Fair Haired Child' and I have to say, while the show itself was rather lame, the classical scores were awesome.

So I did some searching and figured out the 2 classical pieces they used. One was Beethovens 7th Symphony, the other one was Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor, Opus 25.

BUT... I cant find the Brahms piece !!!

So is there anybody out there that either has that Brahms score or knows where to find it (Limewire isnt really the greatest thing to use when searching for classical pieces) or knows a website where I can download it or...

Thanks for any help.

Heh, yeah, went to one, couldn't stand it. That was back w/ grandparents.
Now she wants to see one....not particularly looking forward to that date, although it gives us an excuse to hang out in SF for a while. Oh well, I can survive one (maybe she'll decide one's enough ::crosses fingers::)

K, well thats a lil better if you're female, didn't see it in your profile. Lol, sorry for the double standard, something about guys liking classical a lot kinda bugs me tho ;)

RazoE, its cool, as long as you have a healthy appreciation for real music :p
I actually really like "Eileen" by The Hush Sound, starts (like first 1.45) and ends (last .30) classical w/ nice vocals, so I can kinda understand, but other than that just rock, techno, and some rap for me.

TopSecret, not a dude, lmao... That was classic, get it? CLASSIC!

I love classical music, I really love new age classical... David Arkenstone is probably one of my all time favorites... To me he's a modern day Mozart... This time of year, I SERIOUSLY rock out the Trans Siberian Orchestra... Seriously, gimme a few egg nogs and I'll strap the BC Rich on and play you a little TSO christmas music... ;)

i'm 26 and have loved Clasical for quite some time. all music has it's place and time for use.

not trying to jack your thread but thought i would mention one that i have always liked it's kind of dark feeling though

it's is

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. O Fortuna. Personally i find its best when played quite lound it has very soft spots and loud sections to the score. it's not exactly clasical but kind of operatic. just don't knock it until you listen to it

Ninja edit: since reign Mentioned it

Trans Siberian Orchestra... KICKS ASS :)

BisEW, good call on the Carmina... I LOVE that piece, is so dramatic, and yes, play it LOUDLY on a supurb set of speakers and it can make the hair on my arms stand up... I actually have two versions of that on my comp besides the classical piece... One is a metal version, lol, and the other is a techno piece... ;)

TSO is fucking sick. i was supposed to see them on the 20th, but my friend got sick and couldnt make it so we bagged it
