hey all...just had a MHG put in....started the job myself end of feb in my driveway here in NY///then the real winter came in and couldnt finish...so took it up to a korean gas shop near me with good rep...they out the gasket in...only ting is now when the car starts up three lights on the dash come up for awhile..

the emergency brake
the "security light"
and the tail light signal...

they all come on anf flicker in unision....just asking if this has ever happened to anyone before...i'll go look at it this week or bring it back to them was just hopin i could get a heads up////

where in NY do you live?

i've never had that happen, but it sounds like maybe your alternator might be on the fritz.

it doesnt click, I did have a problem with i guess it is the wireing harness shorting out against the block a few months ago (dunno HOW i forgot about THAT!) Brian (Chevyeater) helped my hang it off the block with a tie...Im hoping that this is the problem...will check it out tonight....

i think if the tail, brake and coolant light comes on all together it means the diode is going out in your alternator. if the diode goes out current from you battery will travel thru your alternator to the ground point for these three lights and they will come on.

Have your alternator tested.
