Ok, so i have the tsrm. it says to check the tps with an ohlmmeter.
well, i bought a new one, with the X10 thingy for ohlms, and followed the instructions. i didnt get a reading for any of the connections. does this mean that i am doing it wrong, or does this mean that my tps is shot?
It doesnt idle bad, but has trouble keeping at idle when i let off the gas after acceleration.

any help would be great
thanks

im no expert, but does your meter have a continuity setting with an audible beep? thats what i used when i set mine. but basically what you describe sounds like the tps needs to be adjusted to where there is an ohm reading (or continuity) when the tps is fully closed ...

i just loosened the screws and adjusted it untill it beeped and retightened the screws??
any one else?

thanks,
mine does not have the beep, i think its supposed to be turned clockwise till the meter deflects, then check again. i just didnt have the time to take off the cps and all that other crap to get to the screws for th etps.
