Ok today i replaced my factory boost gauge with an autometer (just bored out a hole for fitment). now the damn computer is throwing a 32 code(Mass Air sensor) and a 52 code(Knock sensor), is it beacause i disconneted the factory setup or what. Someone out there has had to have done this before any help is appreciated guys, thanks.

I know the code 52 bug, I replaced my turbo and head gasket and then when I put it back together, I got the knock sensor code. It was random, yet still a problem. So I ordered the knock sensor rewire kit from Shaeff(mod on here) and installed it and no more code 52!

As far as the AFM code, I didnt get 32, I got 31 and it was random as well, so I replaced it for the Lex AFM with new electronics, no more code 31. I will have to double check that code 32, because that doesnt sound like the AFM code.

Yep, for the n/a supra it the AFM code, but for your 87 7MGTE it the HAC sensor code. I pulled this from cygnus.

HAC Sensor Signal(7M-GTE)

Diagnosis(HAC Sensor Signal(7M-GTE))

* Open circuit or short circuit in HAC sensor signal.

Trouble Area

* ECU

I believe that the HAC sensor on the 87-88 models is located on the ECU, so double check that and start there.
