Check engine light into 4th gear?

My car is running great, but when I floor it (A340E), it pulls hard at almost 14psi and solid, and then as soon as it shifts into 4th gear right above 100mph, it has a slight hesitation(DEFINATELY not Fuel Cut) because I've felt that before and that's not it, for sure. Right after the quick hesitation, the check engine light kicks on for not even 2 seconds, then goes away and continues to pull even harder in 4th. What do you guys think would be the cause of this?

Lol...so you don't know what this means?:)

Hot Damn, I forgot I even made this post because NOBODY has anything to say. Does this mean that nobody has an explanation or a similar occurrance?

Did the ecu store any codes for you to check?

Mine kinda does that when going between first and second fast and on the boost--quick, and I do mean quick hesitation, CEL on for about 2 seconds, then takes off again usually barken the tires again. Pulled codes---turbocharger pressure--think it is 34.

Well, any other gears and between shifts, its fine. Smooth, holds constant boost, but its only shifting into 4th(right about 100mph), it just pulls a little. Checked the ECU, no codes at all. Like I said, it flashes CEL directly after it goes INTO 4th, it doesn't hesitate to go into 4th, but right after it does, it is just a minor tug but the boost stays at 13.5 - 14psi and continues to proceed...and barrying the speedo:). I don't know...I can't think of anything else as to WHY it would be doing it. Thanks for the help, though.

I see what you mean, why only in 4th gear and no-where else, similiar to my problem only between 1st and 2nd. No stored codes in ecu---hmmm.
Did you ever do anything with the AFM screw in the body?

When the CEL comes on, is it between 3rd and 4th or after already in 4th, how long does it stay on for, are you at WOT, the little burp, does it happen really fast kinda in sync with the CEL?

Well, if you watch my 60-100 video in the "Videos" section, you'll see that it pulls pretty hard, and it shifts into 4th at about 102-3, and as soon as it shifts itself into 4th, immediately, the CEL flicks on for not even 2 seconds, and it has a little tug, then it goes away and continues to pull at full boost.

I watched this video a couple of times, unless I am looking at the wrong video, I can't see the speedo or the CEL clearly, nor can I hear and stumble.

ahhhh wow, I'm stupid. The purpose of the video was to show you that it pulls hard all the way up to that point and after. In that video, I never got into 4th gear.

YES! On my turbo timer, my Air/Fuel ratio read lean when the light came on for a brief second, but before that, at a constant pull, sat right at 14.5-14.7

Checking my fuel filter wasn't even a thought...Not exactly sure how this would cause it to poop on me for a second, then go back to normal pull. I'll check it!:)
