ok, here's my problem. I went to the site i searched on SM (http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/engine_error_codes.aspx) and when it says to connect TE1 and E1 together using a paper clip or some sort of way of making the contacts touch. I actually don't see TE1. all i see is just plain T. Is that where im suppose to connect it to or am i just loosing my mind. (I have a 87 N/A 5spd that i just bought) and can't figure out where TE1 is at. I looked at the diagram and followed the picture where TE1 is located and still nothing the CEL doesnt even blink at all so am i doing anything wrong? Helpp Please.... Thanks

Can you see it now? Pay no attention to the circles, they are for something else. Check the labeling on the right.

yea I looked at the diagram on the box but it says T instead of TE1. so that's where I got confused. I was like where is TE1 and when i compared diagrams I was wondering if T=TE1 or not...

TE1 = T in the '88 TSRM and I believe my diag box just says T or T1

Thanks... I'll check it tomorrow in the day time since its already dark here... so I hope I can get some codes to see why it won't start.
