Jut thought I would pass this along to anyone looking at buying a 360. Yes, I know its the arcade and stripped down with no HD and all that. If you want an HD then the deal isn't for you sorry.

Other wise, you buy the 360 for 199 and get a $100 gift card back. Usually with this sorta thing you can get them to allow you to use the gift card instantly, not a guarantee though. Either way you end up paying $99 for it.

Shit, buy the xbox, sell it for $150, use gift card on something else at walmart. (ammo or food comes to mind for me)

Yea, if you wanna be one of 'those guys' and try to flip it :naughty: . I was hoping someone would actually want to buy it not cheese a few bucks off it.

I wouldn't actually go to the trouble of that, but if anyone wants to rip wal-mart off they have my blessings. ;)

You arent technically ripping walmart off... You're buying their product for $199... You get a $100 giftcard to Walmart... You essentially pay $99 for the Xbox360... You sell the 360 for $150, so you're making back the $99 you paid for the xbox, and making only $50... In turn, you're going to spend the $100 giftcard at Walmart... or even if you sell that.. Someone's going to spend that $100 at Walmart.. Therefore, Walmart is not being screwed... You're going to have to sell that gift card for the minimum of $50 to make your entire money back.. Unfortunately, probably only going to be selling that giftcard for about $80 max.. Which means, you're only going to be making $30 profit for all that hassle..

True, I suppose the only person getting "ripped off" is the person you sell the xbox to, who is still getting it cheaper than normal.

Either way, it's way more hassle than I'd ever go through.

But to the orignal point: This is a good way to get a 360!

I wasn't implying anyone was ripping off walmart(not that I would care about that). I just hate when I want to go buy something and they are sold because of people looking to flip them on ebay.

I'm up in the air if I want to buy one or not, for 99 bucks it might be nice to kick around.
