charcoal canister removal...

i just wanna remove my fat and ugly catch canister...i must drill a hole in my gas cap and then block witch hose?? theres 2 ... 1 on the upper side and one under the charcoal canister (witch is already unplugged the guy that had the car made that lol) the lower one have 1 little non-rigid part and one rigid part.

i know but i wanna remove it..ill never sell my supra anyway so... but drillinmg a simple hole in the gas cap will be okay? and theres 3 hole on the catchn can....1 to tank (i block it)?? 1 for vent (i block it)?? and 1 under the canister what i do with it??

Dude, the only pipe you need to deal with is plugging the one on the firewall. Either a hose, two clamps and a bolt, or buy a cap and clamp.

Remove your entire can, lines and the vac lines too. (Leave the heat activated switch in the themostat housing, unless you want to remove it and try and find a plug.. )

Good luck. I've found it's a great location for a bypass filter, kind of warm, but not too warm I belive with coatings and other heat controls...

Here is a pic. You see the green topped bypass filter where your vapor canister is? See that small blue hose with the bolt in it clamped onto the hard pipe going back to the gas tank from your canister? That's the ONLY one you have to plug off.

Hate to barge into the topic, but I don't need a new thread, and I can't find the specific reference to where the Vacuum hose on the bottom of the Charcoal canister goes. Thanks in advance. Eric
