hey whats going on guys, im in a middle of my 91 supra with a single turbo 1jzgte build..this is what i have so far in the car

pt 67 .81 ar
775cc FIC high impendance injectors
3 inch full exhaust system
precision IC and wastegate
tial bov
AEM v2 driftmotion standalone with aem 3.5 bar map
big daddy 1jzgte fuel rail
walbro 400 fuel pump

i was told from fellas on the forums that BC 264 or 272 cams is a must due to rpm failing above 5500 rpm

i am on a tight budget and was wondering if i do decide to go BC 264 would i really need to change the springs and retainers and can the stock headgasket and bolts handle good boost? i am getting mix answers where people are saying since your doing the cams ..change to arp headstuds but my guy dont want to switch the studs alone without changing the gasket..is this a must?

You can run stock springs with 264 but with 272 you need to change springs and retainers and best to switch to shimless buckets.

Stock head bolts are fine. But if your going for big power its best to change them.
