Im starting there to get started with my code 12 problem. Im gonna go see how much the cap and rotor would be from Monument auto parts and save up... If that doesnt help its on to the plugs and wires. If thats not it. Oh boy..

But back on topic... How easy is it to do? Any write ups anywhere? Help is grately appriciated.

a writeup is always found in the TSRM. i keep mine next to my bed for nightime reading:

IG-17

give me 10 mins, a 12mm socket and ratchet, and one phillips head skrewdriver and it'll be done.

go to DRIVEWIRE.COM and have everything shipped for@ 20.00.

heres your write-up:
tools needed:
phillips screwdriver(that's it)
1. unplug bat.
2. unplug spark plug wires from distrib.
3. unscrew cap(3 screws)
4. pull off rotor WITHOUT(without) turning rotor.
5. put new rotor on
note: new one only goes on one way.
6. screw on new cap
7. DONE
total time: less than 10mins.

Just save yourself the time and trouble and spend the 50$ on new wires as well. You can't go wrong by doing it right even if it does not solve your problem.
