I need to change my rear Cam Position Sensor and I was wondering if it was possible to do with the intake manifold still on the car or waht all needs to come off. I'm sure I could figure it out with enough time but this is my DD and I can't have it down more than a day and I wont pay f*ckin shop rates anymore when they just f*ck me in the end and don't accomplish anything.

all i had to take of was the IAC valve, just to be able to use a 10mm open end wrench on the bolts. its a pretty easy job

the idle control valve on the back on the intake manifold, pipe that goes around the head to the turbo pipe connects to it

With the engine in the car, I actually had to pull the intake mani out to change mine, so that I could pull the fuel rail back a bit (if we're talkin' bout the sensor located near the middle of the fuel rail).

yeah, take out the idle speed control valve and use a ratchet wrench to remove the bolts for the rear cam position sensor.

a magnet helps with putting the bolts back when you reinstall the sensor.

So im just about to pull the sensor but I thought I would throw this up first. When I pull the rear Cam Position Sensor will a bunch of oil come out the hole?
