Change vlave spings with head on?

I may be installing heavier spings so I can raise the rev limit. I know I should have done this during the rebuild but I was not planning on a turbo this big. Ah well.

So, now the car is running and I think ok, lets raise rev limit so I can get a wider power band. Well, it looks like the spings are not removable via an overhead spring compressor.

Is there a way to change spings without taking the head off?

who here has done this?

mine arent bad enough for me to want to do this but i may want to do it when i do shims.
