??Catless Downpipe or Divorced Downpipe??

Which would you suggest in my future mod i dont think there is a BIG difference but i want the best output power price no object i am in a 87 Supra turbo(7mGTE)

A divorced downpipe would be the way to go then.

Do some youtube searches for what it sounds like, almost like an exhaust leak, its very mean, but it does a world of good

oh yea uhmm about the divorced downpipe if i get the wastegate pipe re-routed back into the downpipe wouldnt it just be like a normal downpipe?

and why is a divorced downpipe better thena normal 3" one?

An intentional one though :biglaugh:

I'd use one that is recirculated back to the main pipe...a DDP to the atmosphere is a bit too loud for me.

Also consider that a DDP can induce boost creep on a CT26...you'll have to enlarge the WG hole to keep it from happening.

Though many say that, ive been running a DDP at all types of boost levels and NEVER had a problem...

I love my DDP, sounds like hell underneath your car....

People dont like to race you though when they hear that...

thanks for all the feedback i guess ill be going the DDp way no doubt about it haha

Now.. Which company should i go for.. im from canada and my cars an 87 so no worries about the smog test was thinking BIC since its catless any other companies make them catless?

the only aftermarket downpipes i've ever seen have been catless... i actually have no idea where to find one with a cat still on it. go with BIC unless you're on a budget.
