Hello everyone, my name is Carter, I've been wanting to get a turbo supra for sometime now, and just recently became the owner of this 89 Supra Turbo Targa. After getting the car home and everything, found 3 gaskets between the head and intake runners, 3 bolts holding on the exhaust manifold and head wasn't down like it was suppose to be. Other then that, its not a bad place to start.
Pros
-HKS Stopper HG
-It runs
-Its turbo
-Good suspension
-Everything works
-Has modds, Intake & full 3" Exhaust
Cons
-The "toyota tech" I got it off of, didn't torque the head down to spec
-Driver side door & Fender was molded
-Now has a mohogandy door :3d_frown:
-Interior doesn't match, Burgundy & Tan
-Wheels are painted a different color then the other side

Finally Got it home
To do list before mods (unless i find a really good deal:naughty
Un-mold the Driver door & Fender
Replace Oil Pan & Gasket
Maintenance anything that happens to go wrong
Now the fun part:biglaugh:
The goal is 400rwhp-500rwhp on a mild built 7m or better with the following bellow
.020 Pistons
Clevite Rod Bearings
ARP Rod Bolts
All new gaskets, including heat shielding gasket
Port & Polished Head
3 angle valve job
Polished runner and upper manifold to match
Q45 Throttle Body
*maybe a FFIM if i can find a deal:love:*
HKS Sports Turbo -needs rebuilt-
BIC DDP
550cc Injectors
Walbro 255lb Fuel Pump
AEM WideBand
Apexi Safc2
Apexi AVC-R
32x12x3 Intercooler
Other then that, I want the body to see as follows
Shine auto lip spoilers & whale tail
Euro Bumper lights
and find a good strut & spring combo
Then Dyno and see where i'm at.
