Need to know who is comming from where, and who is meeting up to carpool / caravan to Chicago this year. I have this thread posted here in the general section because I realize some of you are comming from outside the "midwest" area.

Please post your route you are taking and what stops you might make and who you are meeting.

im going from ky to north carolina to west virginia to ohio to canada then down thru wisconsin to meet in chicago.

is this the route you plan on taking? if not maybe i'll just go up thru indiana to your shop :)

Surprizingly, I'm on your route. When you come thru WI you'll go through Rockford and I can join your caravan. :biglaugh:

My coming is now kind of up in the air. I started a new job about 4 months ago and they are being kind of a dick about me taking the time off. I am still working on it though. If I am able to go I would be stoping in Minneapolis/ St Paul. I would like to meet up with others. I think If I am able to come I would be trailering my car.

Canada to Wisconsin? I didn't know the Supra was amphibious! Can't wait to try hitting the water with it myself! I'll let you know how it goes. :biglaugh:

If I came i'd be goin' up I74 to Indy then straight up to Chicago. It'd be near impossible for me to make it though... :nono:

most likely heading up friday morning, but it isnt set in concrete. i'll talk to the other guys and see what they had in mind.

where are you staying up there?

I know one thing, Im not going all the way over to Illinois and then up like last years 16 HOUR F'ING DRIVE.

We are going straight up 65!

Guys from KY:

I will be coming from Saint Charles, IL... wish I could help out with a car pool but I doubt it. I am just 40 miles west of Chicago.

I plan on staying at my house and making each day a venture back to the locations of the meets.

I plan on taking I-88 all the way up to Chicago (which turns into I-290).

Also, if I am driving the Supra (crosses fingers) then I will have possibly one or more passengers in it.

The only reason I can't take out the rear seats immediately when I get it back.

why would you go over to IL? i always go straight up 65 to the wonderful city of gary indiana :)

looking like friday morning is the travel time for us.
