I've fallen in love with the CFX carbon fibre cowl hood. Is it true that Duane isn't going to produce any more? If not, who else makes this style of hood? I want to get a c/f hood but would really prefer this to the OEM style.

He's said no, many times. Unless you wan't to pay for the mold to made..... Believe me I tried. However, I am going to snag one of the 5 made ( if that )... I found one, mwhaahahah.

the cfx cowl hood looks pretty much stock just the center cowl area is raised a few inches more. im to lazy atm to search for a pic, im sure someone else will toss one up. if not ill look after breakfast...

Duane will make just about anything, it's just a matter of generating enough interest that he can sell 5-10 of them. Otherwise it's tough to justify making a mold.
I would love one also, but would prefer it in fiberglass so it would be cheaper and also so I can paint it to match my car. Also how much higher is the cowl on them? I remember that Grant has a fiberglass hood with a larger cowl on it that is on his white car, and it looks bad ass.
