where the hell do you guys get this that there is a carbon fiber shortage? Isn't it a synthetic material? How come there are other companies churning out carbon fiber products all day? I call BS
It might not be a "true shortage" but when Uncle Sam comes first and you start paying 10x what you were paying for the same amount of cloth, you're in deeeeep sh!t.

Same shop as me as someone stated. All the Supra parts and some other stuff is from CFX but they make parts as well. I keep on saying this but noone seems to LISTEN. :nono:

I still think its BS.....that the carbon fiber is low in supply. As for each company having difficulty acquiring it to produce parts maybe a different story.
I don't think its a shortage, but rather who would you sell it to first? Airbus, the military , NASA , or the people who are making car parts?It's quite simple. the big spenders get the most first.
I hope it is over soon ...Gemini had some kool Carbon pieces for our cars and the demand is still there for them.
If there is not enough for everyone who wants to buy some to get some, that's a shortage. I don't know if you know exactly what a shortage is, haha.
Your post 100% described what a shortage is. Less supply than demand.

They make their own stuff and some for me as well at times. They/we are not making any parts...that means zero right now due to a shortage, a condition or fact of being deficient, inadequacy, lack of, scarceness, shortcoming, shortfall, insufficiency, NOT enough. Get a better understanding Duane
