Hi Guys,

When I'm not building cars, my real job is Operations Manager for Aviso Surboards. We make carbon fiber surfboards, some of the lightest and strongest surfboards on the planet! Check the website www.avisosurf.com for some of our products.

I have a bunch of new boards in inventory that my boss has asked me to help get rid of so I'm checking interest in either doing a GB or just plain discounting these to get them out of here (I'm leaning towards the latter, but don't know if it is legal here).

Full retail price on our boards runs from ~$990 for the shorter to ~$3050 for the stand up paddle boards. I'd be able to do somewhere around %20-25 off, but it would really depend on which board you wanted (if I have to build it the discount would be less, but still below retail). If there was enough interest I'd be able to get close to if not under wholesale (but we're talking 20 boards atleast).

I'd be happy to hear thoughts on our boards or if anyone would be interested in one.

Nice. Carbon fiber boards are crazy.

My friend shapes and does all the custom airbrushing for Local Motion/Ricky Carroll so if I ever need a board I would just ask him. They have a carbon fiber long board. That thing is amazing how light it is.

Nice! I'm amazed at the new boards coming out since Clark Foam got shut down. When I lived in VA/NC I was in the water at least a few times/week. Now that I'm in TX I'm lucky if it's 3x/yr :(

We were actually developing these boards before Clark shut his doors, the company came from the Aerospace industry (making nose cones for missles, cruise missle, F-16, F-18 parts) and then moved into making carbon fiber masts for sailboats (our sister company still makes carbon roller furrling foils for large yachts).

These are hollow 100% carbon fiber boards, not just a PU board with a single layer carbon top sheet, these are the real deal.

And yes I have plenty of ideas on how I can make super-badass MKiii parts using the Aviso technology, but we are too busy making surfboards right now for me to interupt my production floor to build some cool parts for myself.

Thanks for Looking,
Matt
