car wont stay running

hey guys whats up. well i got a problem. my car wont idle. when i start it up it will die immediatly, i have to give it gas right away to get it to run. then i have to keep on the gas to keep it running. when i rev it up a little it will rev to about 2500 rpm then it cuts out. what do yall think? thanks

Check for codes? Start with that and see if you have any then proceed from there.

Mine had a problem with the coolant temp sensor and it would start and die right away.

well i would check for codes but i cant get my cel to come on. lol. im s-o-l.
ill see if i can get to come on tommorow.

There are many choices. The timing belt is stretched and jumped or an intake leak come to mind.

I had about the same problem on my old Mazda 626 Turbo GT, ended up being a vacuum leak.

Check all of your vacume lines, and make sure your afm is plugged up.
