When I put the key in the ignition and turn to start the car, nothing happens. I hear a small click and the lights and clock seem to dim. I just purchased a new battery the other day so I have no idea what could possible be the problem. It was working fine for about a day after I put the battery in, but yesterday, it just stopped working. I've had this same problem before, so I thought I would just purchase another battery and everything would be fine...only it's not. Any one have any ideas on what the problem could be? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you replace the old battery because it was dead/weak? Check your new one and see if it's dead/weak. If it is, the alternator may not be charging the battery. Things in the car like small light bulbs and the radio may still turn on even though the battery is too weak to start the car. If the battery is strong, the starter/solenoid may be at fault.
