I'm not sure if its because of the hot weather but my car wont start after I take long drives. I had to wait like 30 minutes just now to get my car started again. Anybody have the same problems? Is there something I need to get checked?

Thanks

Perhaps the battery cables(the big ones that go to the starter) have high resistance in them. This can be seen by green dust on the ends. Heat increases the resistance.

This thread highlights an issue I've noticed more and more here!

Someone posts a problem but as we have no way of knowing the posters knowledge or experience and not wanting to offend by suggesting the basics we tend to go straight to the more advanced troubleshooting steps on the assumption that the poster has already covered the basics!

Not slamming anyone it's just an observation so maybe a standard form for tech questions would be in order here?
